Job Description:

Technical Support Engineer - China, ANZ & Southeast Asia (Shanghai based)

In this role, you will be responsible for providing remote technical support to Customers, Account Managers and Account Reps using remote tools (phone, web, e-mail etc.) in China & Southeast Asia.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a broad range of industries providing technical support in support of customers and the teams sales initiative, and finding solutions to technically challenging problems.

Job Responsibilities:
Make industry specific product recommendations
Technical evaluations of conveyor systems
Remote troubleshooting and resolution
Create and present technical presentations via webcast or other remote technology
Analyze conveyor design and make recommendations for improvement
Provide technical training for other employees
Research & locate technical data
Create Bill of Materials for projects

Your Profile:
Native level Chinese and near-native English is required.
College degree or equivalent mechanical engineering experience in an industrial sales/support or industrial equipment specification role
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize and articulate mechanical concepts
Demonstrated effective communication and relationship skills
Highly computer proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point) & Auto CAD
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/issues at one time
Long term commitment to Shanghai area required

The position is based in the Shanghai Office and reports to the Technical Support Group Manager Asia Pacific.
