Job Description:

The position entails both administrative and managerial aspects, such as the compilation of reports for records and policy formation, as well as shop-floor management and supervision of production in the processing plant. The successful candidate will work with various departments in the plant, including the planning department, the research and design department, and the painting, assembling and packaging department.

Main tasks

The production of orders according to the planning

The managing of the shop-floor employees involved in the production

The managing of the quality of the production

The production of daily reports on the finished product and the maintenance activities

The production of weekly reports of rejected products and how these can be prevented in the future

Responsibilities

To work according to the planning

To realise an increase in efficiency

To keep a check on the production and maintenance costs in the metal department

To maintain safety in the department

To manage the maintenance of the machine plant

To minimise the production wastage
