Property Description:

1 bedroom in a shared flat (with two other people). The room, which has its own bathroom, is on the other side of the flat to the other two so it's pretty private. The rest of the flat consists of a large lounge with a balcony, and a small kitchen, as well as the other two rooms and their shared bathroom. Your (i.e. the room's) bathroom contains the washing machine.

Furniture in the room includes the bed, with a mattress, a couple of wardrobes and a long row of drawers. The rest of the flat is, of course, fully furnished. Every room and the lounge has an independent air-con/heater.

The flat is located on the 10th floor just off Nandan Lu and Tianyaoqiao Lu. The front door is less than a minute's walk from Exit 2 of Xujiahui station, 10 mins to Xujiahui and 20-30 mins (depending on how fast you walk) to Jiaotong uni. The area has a plethora of supermarkets, restaurants, food stands and five Familymarts within 30 seconds of the front door (for some reason).

The current rent is 2500 RMB a month but the contract expires in April and will almost certainly rise to 3000 RMB so you will get at most two months at the 2500 RMB rate. The room is available until the end of june when the landlord wants to redecorate. You pay one months rent upon signing the contract and the deposit is two months rent.

The current flatmates are an Australian guy and an Italian girl. Amenities include internet, water (paid once every two months) gas and electricity. During my time here the most expensive has been about 300RMB each with the cheapest month being about 100.
